THE NATURE OF TRUE FRIEND

Until now, there are so many people who have been riddled by the biblical facts of the old testament - I'm no exception Today, let me enlighten you about one.
When God was to tell the Israelites the animals not to eat, FISH WITH NO SCALE made the list. So if you ate catfish in those days, you could be killed.

WHY FISH WITH NO SCALE?
(It was a parable for this present generation, at least you eat catfish these days)
Fish with no scales are easily hurt, any small thing, they feel it. Even a touch of a needle could make them go gaga.
Unlike them, scaled fish have a protective mechanism through the scale, such that could easily guide against any hurt. When you bring a needle towards them, they don't even feel it. They are mostly hurt when their scales, which is skin deep are removed.

IN RELATION TO FRIENDSHIP
You sure know those that say something like : "See, You should know me by now that I get angry when in the afternoon." or "You don't listen to someone!" ("Oo kii gboran o" in Yoruba term). Small thing and they locate and relocate "P." Stop pressing P now... Winks
"A friend loveth at all times..." (Proverbs 17:17).

PLEASE DON'T GET ME WRONG
We have those who are very stubborn though. They could hurt you when you are dying. They say abusive words to you and expect you not to go angry; "for where!" Such people are not qualified for real friendship. (You are happy now?)
"Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shall not go:" (Proverbs 22:24).

BUT YOU KNOW...
You sure know what I'm talking about; don't sweep it under the rug.
You know it when a friend just ask a favour of you or someone just unknowingly steps on your "SHADOW" and you flare up. You know it when someone makes a mistake -I mean a mistake- by hurting you and you make it a unpardonable offence.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
"He that covers a transgression seeks love; but he that repeats a matter separates close friends." (Proverbs 17:9).
"A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother." (Proverbs 18:24).
"But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. " (Matthew 5:39). "Here is my cheek"
