Number Portability In Nigeria Will Make Mobile Network Providers Lose Customers

Imagine having "080325033¤¤" which is an MTN number and you switch to GLO without having to buy another sim card, and yet you continue to use "080325033¤¤" now on GLO network. I bet you are going to love it!

I gathered that the Nigeria Communication Commission has set March 26 as the D-day to launch the long-waited for "Mobile number portability" ( MNP ). With MNP, you can retain your mobile telephone number when you change from one mobile network operator to another.

If you have a sim card belonging to say, gl* network and the network is bad where you reside, whereas et*s*lat or any other network provider has a commendable service, you'll just have to "fire" them and yet retain their number.
Still don't understand? Okay listen now:
let's say you are using "MTEL" now(over my dead body), and you leave where you are staying for another place where their service is not good and there is a network provider that rocks in the area, you will just submit a "I fire you" kinda stuff to them through your line and send "I employ you" kinda stuff to the other network you so wish, and the number you use will still be the same, even that same SIM card. Now you understand? Thank God.

Mind you, if you have not register your line, this service will not be available for you o...
"Network Operator valid while their great services last."
