I was in my campus fellowship auditorium four years ago, Eleventh of November 2009 Precisely, that one of the Drama members came to join us for wednesday rehearsals. Seeing a female friend(a member of the drama unit) very sad, the one who just came said, "I know it's Lekan that's responsible for this mood of her's." I was a bit angry but I took it cool as I questioned her "What do you mean and from whom did you get the information that I'm responsible for her mood?" She looked at me and boldly said "My Spirit told me" "Your Spirit indeed!" I hummed and I closed the chapter.

What actually happened to the lady very sad was that she had just lost her dad. But to my "My Spirit told me" friend, her Spirit always tells her what is right but her spirit was very wrong that day. And thank God she said her spirit and not "Holy Spirit."

This is what is reigning these days among the generation of Christians. Christians just open their mouths to say "My Spirit told me" when they mean to say "Holy Spirit told me."

Sometimes to save our heads from attracting criticism we say "Something told me." Pls what is that thing that normally tells 'you' things?"

At other times I hear people say "I FELT LED..." Pls who is the feelant that is feeling you?

Just because we cannot tell the SPIRIT from the FLESH, we hide under the covering of "SOMETHING." Why have we not known that it is only Holy Spirit that tells us what is 100% right and any other one is from "Mr uncle brother comrade FLESH."
We deceive ourselves so much these days that our shadows are even confused.

You cannot tell a jot of difference between FAITH and FEAR, yet you prove you know the Holy Spirit. It better be "Holier than thou Spirit" that you know.
This is nothing other than Deception Incorporated!

...By your rotten fruits we have known you.

One thing is certain: Holy Spirit comforts, not bring up wrath. He convicts and convince not confuse.

"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." (James 3:17).

>Oh Lord, teach me to recognize your voice when you speak.
>Open my Spiritual eyes and ears that I may receive from you daily.

(Open the eyes of my heart Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You) 2x
(To see you high and lifted up
Shining in the Light of Your Glory
Pour out Your Power and Love
As we Sing Holy Holy Holy
Holy Holy Holy
I want to See you...)2x Amen.
